Cambut AG Electronics recently spent a week in Lampung, Indonesia, working alongside our Indonesian partner, PT Kharisma Putra Jaya (KPJ), and a major Indonesian sugar plantation to validate the performance of their existing DICKEY-john IntelliAg fertiliser control system.

The visit focused on comprehensive field validation of the plantation’s IntelliAg system under real operating conditions, ensuring it continues to deliver accurate, reliable and consistent fertiliser application. Working alongside the plantation’s operators and technical staff, Cambut and KPJ also provided additional operator training to help the customer maximise the value of their investment.
The successful validation confirmed the IntelliAg system is performing as intended, giving the customer continued confidence in the accuracy and reliability of their precision fertiliser application program.
Beyond validating the existing system, the visit also provided an opportunity to discuss the plantation’s future precision agriculture requirements. Cambut and KPJ met with the plantation’s management and technical teams to identify opportunities for expanding their precision farming capabilities through additional DICKEY-john systems for planting and fertilising application control.
This visit demonstrates Cambut’s commitment to supporting customers well beyond equipment supply and commissioning. By working closely with PT Kharisma Putra Jaya, we combine responsive local support with Cambut’s technical expertise to ensure customers continue to achieve the highest levels of performance from their precision agriculture systems throughout their operational life.
We look forward to continuing our partnership and supporting the ongoing adoption of precision agriculture technologies across Indonesia’s sugar industry.
